Online Instructions: You can follow these steps to make your appointment for fingerprinting or schedule your appointment to file your I-600A/I-800A application and be fingerprinted (for Kansas-may not apply to other states).

1. Visit infopass.uscis.gov
2. Click "Click here for English"
3. Click "Click Here Make your appointment with InfoPass"
4. Enter your zip code and click "Continue"
5. Select "You need to file an application for yourself or someone else." and click "Continue"
6. Ignore the links and click "Continue"
7. Fill out the form and click "Continue". You do not need to make individual appointments
8. If going at the same time one appointment per family is sufficient.
9. Review for accuracy and click "Continue"
10. Select a day that works for your schedule and click "Continue"
11. Select a time that works for your schedule and click "Continue"
12. Review for accuracy and click "Continue"
13. Print appointment confirmation
14. Take this print out with you on the day of your fingerprint appointment

You will need to take with you documentation depending on if you are just going for fingerprinting or to file an I-600A/I-800A application and be fingerprinted:

If just going for fingerprinting and you still have a current, un-expired I-600A/I-800A/I-171H you will need to take evidence of that with you as in a copy of your I-171H or your fingerprint expiration date confirmation and tell them that you are only updating your fingerprints because your 15 months are up. The fee for fingerprinting is $80 per person.

If filing a new I-600A/I-800A and being fingerprinted you will need to take with you your completed I-600A/I-800A form, copies of your birth, marriage, divorce decrees, death certificates (if applicable), a statement stating that these are true and correct copies of original documents in your possession. This does not need to be notarized, but it will need to be signed.

You will also need to take a check for the I-600A/I-800A and fingerprinting. The form fee is $670 and the fingerprinting is $80 per person age 18 or over living in the household. (Example: for a married couple with no others living in their home their fee would be $830, for a single person with no others living in their home, their fee would be $750 for a married couple with an adult child or a parent living in their home their fee would be $910)

Please remember to take confirmation of your appointment date and time with you along with the above documents as applicable for your case. You will also need a photo ID.

The State of OHIO is not using infopass at this time for fingerprint appointments.
